PowerPoint is such an interesting topic. Because, like, on one hand, this is the bomb. On another, what does it matter if this clipart flies in from the side? Isn’t this just obstructing meaningful communication by eating up time with arbitrary and unrelated points? I don’t know, but I’m going to spend five million years on it because it’s awesome.
Darth Vader: wears mask to hide severe and gruesome disfigurement from falling into a pit of lava, aid with speech and breathing
Kylo Ren: wears a mask literally just because he’s dramatic
I did notice while watching that it appears a bit beaten up, so maybe it does have some practical value. But it could also just be that he’s thrown it across the room. I feel that the more we learn about The Force Awakens, the more of a gift it is.
@daisyridley:Don’t be fooled by my expression (I was trying to do like a kind of ‘cool’ face thing to go with my whole aesthetic and it didn’t really work).
Artist Jane Kim has just completed painting a 3,000-square-foot mural on the wall of the Cornell Lab of Ornithology Visitor Center in Ithaca, New York, that depicts the evolution of birds.
The mural features winged representatives from each of the world’s 243 families of modern birds, painted to scale on a massive world map on the 70-foot by 40-foot wall. As well as birds, which evolved 150 million years ago, it also includes 27 dinosaurs and prehistoric beasts that are ancestors of birds.
Someday I want to commission a portrait of @libbabraysactualblog in stained glass, as an angel/saint, with a pirate eye-patch and ascot, but that also imparts a general and discernible resemblance and pose of either Low or Heroes-era David Bowie. Please read this.
